*I think it will be a Good option for Grape to look at Africa countries, Nigeria for start, reasons being that:
*Literally almost every one in the country is currently going into crypto, both Young and old, we are a country of about 200 million in population, and about 32% are already involved, so I see this an opportunity.
*Nigerians are willing to learn, we just need to get the message across properly. The Grape Skill role team is well packed with talents and lots More,we just need to spread the message of grape across to Africa, and the Nigeria community will be perfect for that
*The participation in events have been low for a while now,I see this as an opportunity to increase that, and also add it as a marketing strategy as well, Nigerians are well know on the twitter community, we can also use this to our advantage to spread the Grape message across the globe (Africa to be specific) Most Nigerians/Africans Don’t know about Grape, getting them on board will be a huge turnaround.
There may be a couple of limitations, yes. But it’s Worth a shot. That’s my two grapes.
Awesome, what do you think would be the first step for expanding in these areas of interest? What is the plan of action? Would this be primarily for participation in GRAPE events?
Basically the first step will be educating/informing them about the grape community and it’s benefits, then we determine what happens with the result.
I get that, we can start bit by bit, let’s get the word out there, then we get the results, then determine what happens next. If the results are Great we can then go ahead to put it up for a vote, if it’s not then we improve on the current idea. We are not just looking at the Nigeria country here, but the Africa continent as a whole.
I like the idea. In my mind, the first step would be to find a way to organize something like a Nigerian-specific welcoming call. Something like this can be highly effective imo in order to spread the word. As you said, we already have many Nigerians on the server that are not even verified yet.
Maybe you might need funding to be able to push this educational/informational content on social media platforms?
I believe the Nigerian community in the server is enough to spread that. Secondly educate them on what? Everyone on solana should know grape by now cause 500+ servers use our tool set. Anyone who wants to he apart of grape don’t need a formal education.
Awesome, first we can get them verified and get them on the call.
Funding for educational/informative purpose will be needed, but let’s not rush into that yet, but yes it will be needed, we can discuss on what needs to be done for now then we discuss the budget later on.
@Favour I need strategies you have put in place to make this work, how do we reach out to them? What are they gaining from us in return… I know Nigerians are top in the crypto sphere, but how do you intend to get people into grape and what role are they gonna play.
I agree to disagree, lots of Nigerians are on the server yes, the idea here as well, is to get more on board, not All are educated on the benefits of holding Grape and lot’s more. @Dim_Selk just offered to have them on the welcoming call, let’s start from there.
Grapeing call is an event scheduled for Newbies to learn more about grape and what it stands for… I believe anyone who joins that call knows how grape works an what we are building here… finally I want to know how you plan to get more Nigerians On board.
You need strategies???, It’s a win, win situation Grape expands in community growth, activities and who get more people in the to participate in events. How do we reach out to them? I said this earlier, through social media platforms, like twitter, Facebook and Whatsapp, the discord platform is available as well. About the role we are going to Play, it’s basically Free marketing for Grape.
Read up pervious discussion buddy, I believe you questions have been answered, if you feel we don’t have good strategy or plans, you are Free to share yours. The Nigerian channel on the grape server was inactive for a while, but it’s active today all thanks to spec game. If we could do that together, imagine what we can do with the Grape community with us?
That’s great, but we are not asking for scholarship. Like I said it’s a win, win situation. Grape benefits and the Nigeria/Africa community benefits as well.
I can’t share mine since I didn’t bring the idea. My work here is to make sure we don’t bring another proposal up without following it up. You talk about strategies and still don’t have any put in place to follow up. You talk about social media platform playing a key role… I want you to devise way by which we can reach out to this set of people and keep them engaged. This is what I need from you.
How can we get this set of people since you said social media(how do we go about sending out this information to better reach this community)
What is ur plan of keeping them engaged, and in what way can we keep them engaged.
