Following the new Grape changes (more info here) and the lack of emissions to the Moderation team, has been clearly the need for the Community Management subDAO. The purpose of this Proposal is ask the DAO for funds and further payments for the Community Management subDAO.

All funds will be managed by the Community Management subDAO Leaders who will be managing the monthly funds through the Squads treasury (4CymeCLrEg1EJLaYNuRWX6zzev8q1HjLhjXB4WGgCUR8).
The Grape dao should provide community services for its community.
The CM subdao provides community services of good quality and 24/7.
The Grape dao should hire them monthly depending on their price.
@legend
What is the fixed price, independently of the number of moderators, to provide the CM subdao service 24h/7days a week monthly to a single community (Grape Dao in this case, not counting on GAN service, etc.)?
Price of service was based on top tier moderator rewards that one received during Grape emissions when they were distributed.
CM subDAO is being led by volunteered subDAO leaders (legend, Takisoul), which subDAO Leaders elections are led every month. That being said revenue will be shared accordingly for each Moderator proof of work and quality.
Pontes Grapes for Grape DAO:

Agree.
Agree, CM subDAO should strive to keep and improve their community services while preserving good quality services and 24/7 service.
CM subDAO has a good track record of all the work was been done on Grape + GAN, all this work can be looked and proved. Should be definitely up to the Grape DAO to decide if the price asked is satisfactory to the service provided.

There is no fixed price, since Communities differ one from another easily. For example, Communities with 10k members are more difficult to handle than Communities with 100 members. That being said prices will always differ. We as a CM subDAO, would give a budget to a Community in case such services are required.
What can be said also is that from my perspective is that this flyer is no longer acceptable/valid for this epoch of Grape. Which being the case the services specified in the .pdf should be revised by each Grape subDAO that focuses in one or many services offered.
How much the CM subdao would charge per month to take care of a community with the size of grape?
What will be the services provided to this community?
For example, deanslist group/subdao charge a minimum 50 deans to provide a 1 week feedback on a product/service, deliver a comprehensible well formatted document summarizing all the important points at the end plus a twitter space with the project.
A moderate (pun intended) salary for moderators is 200 USDC per week, per person.
Assuming the quality of the moderation services offered by Grape is top notch, then the above price is a good starting point (tbd between Grape and each community that wishes to employ Grape moderation services).
Moderation services will include support, general supervision of channels on discord, channel management (depending on trust lvl community wishes to extend), support during live events.
Grape Moderators should be able handle event management too (w extra fee).
So the way I understand it currently then the CM subDAO should be paid by the GAN subDAO for their services and the Grape DAO only pays for the moderation they receive on the Grape DAO Server.
Is that right?
Imo they should be paid from Grape DAO for both. Eventually, if we reach to a point where $GAN is self sufficient , we can consider changes in the funding. But by then no.
Moderators is a very sensitive role that requires a lot of trust and to maintain that trust you need to provide a certain degree of security & reassurance.
I agree that Grape DAO must pay for both because GAN subdao cant do it by itself right now.
But my idea questioning it here is to get the price of the service first for the Grape community server and then, after done that, we can calculate the cost to moderate the Gan server.
This is not a question we can answer (how many WILL we need).
At the moment, there are 5 moderators and event though we do not need 5 mods given the current server activity (which may change at any moment) there is also the factor to consider for the Grape Services; we need to have ready to be deployed, trusted mods to work to other servers.
So yeah, at the moment we have 5 moderators and we will see that these are the ones we will need in the short term.
@Takisoul and @legend
I am sorry if I am not been clear on my questions!
I am aiming to create a grape cash flow to tackle our fix expenses!
So please What is the cost to hire the CM subdao to take care of Grape Community server for 24h/7days a week at the current stage of our server activity?
Any update on this matter?
It is on the agenda since June 7 if I am not mistaken.
As far as I understood:
CM subDAO are offering their 24/7 moderation service to Grape DAO.
CM subDAO service include support, general oversight of channels in contention, channel management and support during live events.
Grape DAO needs a moderation service. If CM subdao disappeared from the map today, Grape DAO would pay to have a moderation service for any company and with much less trust.
To moderate ONLY the Grape server, CM subDAO delivered two quotes to Grape DAO:
1 - 1000 USDC/month (200usdc per moderator/month) - most voted;
2 - 750 USDC/month + 44035 GRAPE/month (150 USDC + 8807 GRAPE per moderator/month);
What are DAO members waiting for?
They are waiting to be discussed at the next Public DAO Call. If not next week, next week.
They are waiting for more proposals from other community managers to compare prices and services.
They are waiting for an on-chain proposal to vote.
This is 300 USDC per person per month. Our proposal is not cheaper. Not sure of the quality of their services (just to understand the relevance of the number).
